teaming up with families…
The Celebrate Children Foundation's goal is to grow Family Team Meetings in Wisconsin. Because of the money raised during the foundation's kick-off fundraiser, training will be offered at two sites in 2008.
Fundraising for the foundation's statewide Teaming Up with Families Initiative began November 4, 2007, when Kate and Tim, a young married couple from Wisconsin, ran in the ING New York Marathon. Kate and Tim ran in step with each other throughout the New York Marathon averaging under a 10-minute mile. They raised more than $15,000 of their own contributions including support from their families and friends. They donated the entire amount, with some match from their employers, to the Celebrate Children Foundation for the start up of Family Team Meetings in Wisconsin.
be a philanthropist for a day…
The funds raised during the first phase of this campaign have given the initiative a great start! Because training and start-up costs are from $15,000 to $20,000 per site, the foundation needs your support to take Family Team Meetings statewide. Please join Kate and Tim and all the other generous founding donors and be a philanthropist for a day by giving online.
Your donations to the Celebrate Children Foundation are tax deductible and will go a long way towards improving the lives of Wisconsin's children and their families.

the crisis in Wisconsin…
The number of children reported abused and neglected during 2005 in Wisconsin reached 40,917 – about 112 children a day. If brought together, these children would fill all the seats in Miller Park. Child maltreatment is a long-term health threat; click here, to learn more.
partnering to create social change…
The Celebrate Children Foundation maintains a strong partnership with the Wisconsin Children's Trust Fund. We believe that by working together to provide prevention programs, we can create social change that will transform Wisconsin communities and help children realize their full potential.
