Celebrate Children Foundation was established in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) public charity. CCF was originally formed to be the private sector partner of the State of Wisconsin’s Children’s Trust Fund. Over time, CCF’s mission expanded to help communities across the state to create effective early learning experiences for all children, beginning with the most vulnerable.

The Foundation has received revenues from the sale of Celebrate Children license plates since its inception. Those funds have been held in an endowment, allowing interest to grow for future grantmaking. Recently, CCF has developed an administrative staff to take a more active role in securing public and private funds and investing in programs that improve Birth to Five education.
