How much does it cost?
In the first year: $15 issuance fee + $20 donation = $35
In subsequent years: For non-personalized plates, the $20 donation. For personalized plates, $15 personalization fee + $20 donation = $35
How is my donation used?
All donations through the license plate go to the Foundation’s endowment; your annual contribution is invested and we only spend the interest. With those and other funds, we support effective early learning programs and initiatives for children from birth to age five.
I’m not sure when my registration is due. How do I know when to apply?
You can apply for a Celebrate Children license plate at any time! If you know your registration is coming due soon, you can save time by renewing your registration at the same time you apply. See the application form for details.
What if I already have a personalized plate?
You can keep your personalized message on your new Celebrate Children license plate (up to six (6) characters). Or, you can switch to a non-personalized plate if you wish.
